WHEREAS, The Police Department has (1) Duffle bag containing torches w/acetylene and oxygen tanks and (1) Bauer Demolition Drill, Model 1631E-B, Serial Number 370452438 in the evidence property room that were confiscated, cleared by the courts or abandoned that need to be declared surplus, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department would like to donate the two items to the City of Foley Pubic Works Department and the City of Foley Street Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves declaring (1) Duffle bag containing torches w/acetylene and oxygen tanks and (1) Bauer Demolition Drill, Model 1631E-B, Serial Number 370452438 , as surplus.
SECTION 2: Approves the items listed be donated to the City of Foley Public Works Department and the City of Foley Street Department.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
