WHEREAS, from time to time the City Council has to make adjustments to their calendar because of holidays, and
WHEREAS, there are three holidays that fall on Work Session/Council Meeting dates that need to be rescheduled, and
WHEREAS, Monday, January 1, 2024 will be observed for New Years Day and this Council Meeting will need to be rescheduled to Tuesday, January 2, 2024, and
WHEREAS, Monday, January 15, 2024 will be observed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and this Council Meeting will need to be rescheduled to Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and
WHEREAS, Monday, September 2, 2024 will be observed for Labor Day and this Council Meeting will need to be rescheduled to Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves rescheduling the Work Session/Council Meeting dates with the same time (4:00 p.m. respectively) due to holidays as follows:
Monday, January 1, 2024 is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 2, 2024 to accommodate New Years Day
Monday, January 15, 2024 is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2024 to accommodate Martin Luther King Day
Monday, September 2, 2024 is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 2024 to accommodate Labor Day
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
