WHEREAS, OWA requests to host a fireworks display for New Year's Eve on the following dates:
Thursday, December 31, 2026 at 8:00 pm - New Year's Eve
Friday, January 1, 2027 at 8:00 pm - Make-up Day
WHEREAS, OWA requests permission to coordinate with the City of Foley Fire and Police Departments during these events as it pertains to general public safety and traffic routes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves fireworks display to be held at the OWA grounds on Thursday, December 31, 2026 for New Year's Eve with a make-up day on Friday, January 1, 2027.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
